Amenities at Elgin Country Club
Elgin Country Club, located near Cook, Dupage, Kane, and DeKalb counties in Illinois, offers world class amenities for the whole family.
This includes the Friends of the Cellar wine tastings, Sunday BBQ, casual and fine a la Carte dining Wednesday through Saturday. Additionally we offer unique special events like drive-in movies on the practice center, pool parties, wine socials, black-tie formals, holiday celebrations for the whole family and much more. Many events include live entertainment, Friday’s on the Weldwood Patio and Ravinia Night on the practice center.
- Social & Dining
Many dining opportunities are available year round. Social events are open to all Members.
Whether you use the Club for corporate entertainment or for socializing, you will find it is the people here who set us apart. Our friendly, courteous staff will make you feel right at home, and the members are truly warm and welcoming. Exciting events and family activities offer endless occasions for socializing. You will find Elgin Country Club is more than just a club, it is a community.
- Swimming
Our large pool and Kiddie pool, open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, are perfect for relaxing on sunny days with poolside food and beverage service.
- The swimming facilities at Elgin Country Club have become one of the most popular areas of the Club. The swimming pool, family oriented activities, outstanding pool side food & beverage service and personable staff make it “the” place to be during the hot summer months.
- The immaculately maintained pool (with a 1-meter diving board) are host to the Club’s swim team. A large, expansive patio provides ample room for sunning, lounging and family fun. Amenities include a pool snack grill, bar, numerous umbrella tables and restrooms. The facilities are ideal for hosting large poolside parties for Members and their guests. We also host pool parties throughout the season!
- The Club has a competitive summer swim team program engaged in swim, diving and synchronized swimming competitions with other local clubs and our staff offers group and individual lessons to children of all ages.
- The safety and well-being of our Members and guests is our highest priority. To ensure the safe enjoyment of all pool visitors we employ our own Red Cross certified manager that trains and certifies our own lifeguard staff that are guarding the pool every day from morning till night.
- Activities
Members are able to engage in all social and recreational activities.
All programs are designed to be fun and full of camaraderie. Fishing for (big) bass in the lake near the 12th Green is a favorite pastime for many Members. Our family events like our Spring Fling and Halloween Happening allow fun for all ages. No matter your activity level, there is something for everyone.

Kids Club: Provides supervised fun activities while parents enjoy night out at The Club. Activities may include movies, crafts and games. |

Camp Elgin: Summer day camp for Members’ children and grandchildren in grades K-5. Activities include Golf Instruction, Fitness & Athletics, Swimming, Tennis, Martial Arts, Creative Arts and more! |

Junior Golf: program includes individual tournaments and The King and Heir parent/child. |
